The Watch House is now part of the Bloomberg Family.  The Bloomberg Connects app is a worldwide app for visitors and fans of heritage sites. Our Watch House Bloomberg Connects Team has been working hard to provide information to help visitors, both local and global, gain a deeper appreciation of who we are, how we arrived here, and the vital role we play within our community.

We're thrilled that the Cullercoats Watch House has been selected for inclusion in the Bloomberg Connects App: it's a great match, as it's a platform that brings arts, history, heritage, and more to a global audience through an engaging online media experience. The Bloomberg Foundation, renowned for its philanthropic endeavours, recognized our little building on the North-East coast as a worthy candidate for this prestigious app.

The Bloomberg Connects App allows visitors to virtually tour some of the world's greatest museums and galleries and currently boasts 3.5 million subscribers. With the Cullercoats Watch House now live on the platform from this month, there’s a potential audience of millions who will be introduced to our rich heritage, stories, and the remarkable history of our community.

This is a significant milestone for us, and we are incredibly excited to be part of this fantastic project. The app will house all of our history, heritage, stories, and memories in one accessible place, available to our global visitors and supporters.
